Chris Brown Says Sorry Rhi-Rhi

Chris Brown recently made a public apology to Rihanna/fans. My question is why wait so late to do this? Why didn’t his PR team/management urge him to make some sort of public apology to her when the event first transpired? He states in the video that his lawyer urged him not to do a public apology. Huh? However, his waiting so long to do this makes it now seem as if he is not sincere. It almost seems as if they expected it to blow over faster than it has. I believe they assumed the public would forget about it quickly but the constant You Tube videos with a mock Chris Brown beating a mock Rihanna proves the opposite. Since it has not, they now feel the next move is to apologize as a last resort. Instead of the public seeing him playing out in the water on some beach perhaps this should have been his first move after the incident. Although it is sad that these events transpired this way and I feel he is embarassed by his behavior, I am not completely convinced that Chris is apologizing to Rihanna for Rihanna. I think it is a strategized career move that quite honestly should have occurred months ago. After so much time has passed it seems a bit shallow.
