TMZ states that Janet Jackson has been preparing for her tribute to her late brother at the upcoming MTV Video Awards. According to one of her dancers Kryiss Grant, (who was also a usher at Michael Jackson’s funeral) Janet Jackson has been putting in endless hours of rehearsal in preparation of the event. Jackson has been working with some of the top choreographers in the game, such as Frank Gatson and Travis Payne.

I am not the biggest Janet Jackson fan but it will be interesting to see what she creates in memory of her brother. I’m sure the performance itself will be an emotional one for her and the audeince members. Janet is over 40 so I am sure that the extended rehearsals have been a bit of a strain on her body but if anybody can pull it off, JJ can!
