Am I having a nightmare? Lil Wayne and T-Pain will be starring in a cartoon on Adult Swim. Rapper Lil Weezy will be the voice of Jesus. Yes, Jesus. Jake Escobedo, creative director for Adult Swim explained the concept of the show as being “a Black Spring Break that went down in Atlanta and got shut down back in ‘98 or ‘99. So the show is going to resurrect that, and it’s going to be starring T-Pain and Lil Wayne and all these other artists like David Banner and some other dudes. It’s all drawn, and T-Pain plays the ghost of spring break, the Spirit of Freaknik. He brings this party back to Atlanta and the artists have done all this music for it, and it’s amazing.” There are a few things terribly wrong with this. The first being that a cartoon about a Freaknik is reminiscent of the ghetto ass cartoon Friday which had a short life on MTV only this is worse. Secondly, Lil Wayne a Jesus. Come on son! Just because Lil Wayne has dreads does not make that little monster worthy of playing Jesus. I don’t care if it is just for sh*ts and giggles. Who the hell is T- Pain going to be? Moses? Its too much!

On another note, Lil Wayne’s new album has been pushed back to June.
