Former Destiny’s Child star Michelle Williams is high-kicking her way into the role of Roxie Hart in Broadway’s Chicago. She certainly has been keeping her career going with acting. I’m not mad at her. I actually think she is a better actress than Beyonce. There is no do overs in Theater.

Williams, 29, will replace Ashlee Simpson-Wentz as the wannabe star-turned-murderess for a limited run in the hit musical from Feb. 8 to March 28, PEOPLE Magazine revealed on Wednesday. The three-time Grammy Award winner made her New York stage debut in the Broadway production of Aida in 2003. Michelle has spent the past few years performing in London’s West End theater district, including a turn as Roxie in the British adaptation of the musical.
