First Beyonce was catching heat from performing for her private Libya concert. Now she is receiving more judgment from Trinidadians who do not want her to perform there. They claim that a Beyonce concert there will take money away from their annual carnival which ends two days before. The Feb 18th concert is said to cost about $ 1 million. Beyonce can’t catch a break! Too bad the people of Trinidad can’t place a vote as to whether they want her there or not. Just as there are people complaining there are also people scrapping together their next check to buy a ticket to see her in concert. Beyonce does not care. She just wants her check.

I’m from Trinidad and I’m not agianst her coming to my country but I am against the reported $10 million TT dollars that they are paying to bring. That is too much to sepnd on one artist. If it were Beyonce along with Kelly Rowland and another star; then yeah i could have understood the payment.
On the other hand it would not affect carnival because I must say Trinidadians love to spend money! They would go to all of the carnival fetes and still find money to pay for the tickets and outfit to wear on the said night of her show.
A matter of fact the VIP tickets cost $1600.00 TT and were sold out on the first day.
