Maybe I am out of the loop here but I had no idea that young men wearing sagging jeans was such an epidemic. That its importance has surpassed other issues such as teen pregnancy, Aids/HIV, domestic violence against women, child abuse, lack of education for inner city children and so on. Which is why I am disappointed that New York senator Eric Adams is placing his energies into sagging jeans.
Adams is so concerned about your men and their wardrobe that he did a public service announcement concerning the issue. I agree that young men and their sagging jeans is annoying and seeing their underwear is unattractive. I also agree that yes, their wardrobe can create a stereotype against them. However, I disagree with this being such a serious issue that there needs to be so much energy put into it. I mean really, there are several other issues that he can be discussing concerning young urban men besides their choice of clothing. How about educating them, exposing them to more opportunities aside from the limits they see in their neighborhood, urging them to use condoms to prevent being someone’s future baby daddy or catching and ultimately passing diseases on to our young urban women?
I appreciate the interest that Adams is placing in young urban man, and although I agree with some of his perspectives, I still feel that there are other issues that take presidence over sagging ass jeans.

Throw all of them in jail for 15-days and show them that nobody wants to see their homo style.
