I like Ray J and Brandy’s mom Sonia Norwood. She is….. Gangsta. She speaks her mind and does not back down from her own opinion even if the majority disagrees. Sounds like someone I know. Hmmmmm…. Anyway, the whole fam was on Wendy Williams the other day and the situation with the sex tape was brought up (ofcourse). Mama Norwood made the point that Kim Kardashian benefited from the sex tape as well as her family. I agree with Mama Norwood. The Kardashians got a whole show from it not to mention countless ads…. But if Mama Norwood was gonna keep it gangsta she should have kept it ALL the way gangsta and truthful. Ray J benefited just as much. He got two, no wait three shows from the sex tape.

No one was thinking about Ray J or his sister Brandy before that tape surfaced. Ray J has always been known simply as Brandy’s little lame brother who was kinda cute but still lame. Brandy hasn’t had a hit in years unless you count that horrible car accident she was in where she killed the other driver and her family paid a shit load of money to the other drivers family. Now Ray J is known as some kind of pimp/ sex machine that all the ladies love, at least on the show. So yeah Sonia, I agree with you to a certain degree. She may not want to hear that her kids careers was at a screeching halt but they were. When was the last time you bought a Brandy or Ray J album? Yeah that’s what I thought. Keep it ALL the way real. Both parties used the sex tape as a jumping point for their careers. I bet even Ray J would agree with me if his moma wasn’t around…Granted the Kardashians benefited more because we did not even know who they were before the sex tape but still all parties came up from the tape.
