Picture this ladies. You have on a shirt so tight that your nipples are head bumping with folks. Your skirt is short and you are praying to GOD that you won’t drop anything tonight because if you do you might have to kick it all the way home. You know that if you bend over, everyone is going to see your yo-hoo. As you make your way down the street you are greeted with shouts and a brigade of “ shorty let me holla at you” from every direction. Insulted you increase your pace and keep your head in the air. How dare they approach you in such a slutty manner! They have got their nerves!
If this scene describes your usual every day experience then I have to give you a “girl stop”. This post is dedicated to the woman who chooses to dress like a prostitute, a choice that you are free to make but then becomes insulted when you are sexually harassed throughout your day. Two statements: You can’t have it both ways. What the hell do you expect?
Yeah I know it sucks. Here is the thing ladies, we know or at least you should know if you are at least over 25 that men are simple. They are visual creatures. They work with their senses. They are stimulated by things that are pretty to look at or even slutty to look at. This is how they are wired. Visuals excite them and get their attention before you even open their mouth. If you are dressed like you are seeking stimulation then please understand that they are going to jump at the offer. Even I get annoyed when a chick gets her panties in a bunch after someone tries to holla at her. It’s like did you look in the mirror before your left? You had to expect this kind of attention. You cannot be that clueless. Can you?
Yes a woman has the right to wear what she wants. In a perfect world a woman could dress as slutty as she feels that day and not one sexual comment would come her way. In a perfect, unrealistic, far out of space world. In this double standard filled world that we all live in, shit does not happen in that order.
If you dress like you are about to go work the pole then understand that someone will offer some pole, figuratively speaking to you. So ladies, stop with the shyness and the mock insulted behavior every time you wear a shirt with your boobs so far out that they look like two watermelons. ( Mind you I am speaking of slutty dressers not sexy dressers. There is a difference. )You are getting in return what the men around you think you want based upon your attire. It is not brain surgery and though it is laced with an ugly double standard that keeps peeking its head out like an ingrown hair. Such is life.
