This vid is really dark and I don't like that at all. I'm not really understanding the deal with all this dark ish in Beyonce's video's lately but I'm sure that's another story. THe story line for the video is pretty understandable however so let me break it down. Basically her bf was running from some people who were after him 'cause he had a significant amount of money that I'm guessing he was NOT supposed to have. The dog was used to chase him and the dog was shone a lot 'cause him and Bey had perchased a little dog of another breed (dauchund) and it was cute, but this vid was to show how "man's best friend has become his downfall" so to speak and this vid storyline was designed to be a complete contrast to the original halo video. Looks like Bey was supposed to met her man and be the get away car but her boo didn't quite make it to their meeting spot on time. Hmmmm, don't really like either vid 'cause I'm not a fan of darkness and stuff but yeah, it was kinda powerful and nice that the vid combined the lighter halo and good times with the darker halo and bad times. it flipped back and forth showing the contrasts between lying in bed with the love of your life, and lying in the ground in the end of your life....sad but powerful.
