I really don’t understand when people, especially those of the minority groups, say things like, “My vote doesn’t really count.” This statement really baffles me. How can anybody actually believe that?
Do you know if everybody thought the same way, this country would be in total chaos! No progress would ever happen! No one would be happy. People would feel controlled because they are not being heard and their needs are not being met. The result in this would only lead to violence and ultimately war between one another. So please help me understand your train of thoughts when you say that your vote doesn’t count!
Let me say this, those who are not happy with the current direction the United States is going will vote for sure! They will make sure that their vote counts and their voice be distinguishably heard.
So those who are happy with it and/or wants to see the country get into a better state, let your voices be heard as well! Don’t get too comfortable and think that everything is ok, because its not. We still have many strides to go! Don’t give up or give in! We have to be in it for the long haul!
If you do not vote, then you are right, it doesn’t matter. Your voice will not be heard and in all honesty your opinion does not count! Please spare us your complaints in times to come because we don’t want to hear it! Stop using your mouth to speak aimlessly and start using it to speak with reason!
Take the time out on November 2nd to let your voice be heard and then months later your words will become an reiteration of what you meant, a weapon that will give you strength to fight for what you believe and a cause to stand with the candidate of whom you voted for. Its time to really take an active interest in the welfare of our country and make it all count for something!
