Oh Lil Wayne, what a slurred web we weave when we choose to drink and smoke weed. Rapper Lil Wayne is fresh out of prison and upon his release there was plans for him to be greeted with bottles of liquor and other intoxicating delectables in a VIP section at a night club. The only problem is that per Weezy’s probation he is mandated to stay away from liquor and drugs for the next three years. That is a long time for a man that is accustomed to living his life with a Styrofoam cup filled with syrup morphed to his hand. He is also prohibited from knowingly associating with any person engaged in criminal activity or any person with a criminal record without prior written approval from the probation department.

The question now that everyone is pondering is, can he do it? Can Lil Wayne stay “clean” for the next three years? I would like to think that he is smart enough to have learned his lesson. But, after the example that fellow Rapper T.I. set, my confidence that Weezy can be a good boy while on three year probation is fading. After all celebrities like Wayne and T.I. are used to having the world at their finger tips. They are accustomed to getting what they want, when they want and somebody better make the delivery fast.

This is part of the reason why they have difficulty following rules and obeying laws. They fall into the mentality that these rules do not apply to them and they are free to live and do as they please simply because they can lay down bars on a track.Perhaps I am being too hard on these men. Maybe they both will turn over a completely new take on life after serving their time. What do you think? Can Weezy stay out of trouble and away from drugs and alcohol for the next three years?
