It sad we stoop on their level just to feel happier. U won't truly feel happy until u can stand on ur own feet. Love hurts n no one wants to feel heartbroken but if its the inevitable, then handle it like a strong woman n be ready. They will suffer in the worst way later. Don't be labeled the scorned wife. If that was me, id let him go b with whomever he wants to b with because I won't let a cheating man or mistress put a dent in my life. Cmon ladies, its time we start being stronger as a woman then to get revenge on another woman who your husband clearly wants. So I'm not quite sure as to why the mistress would have to pay if her husband left his wife for tasia. So would there honestly be a diff if he were to divorce with mrs. cook knowing he wanted someone else n then pursue a relationship with tasia...mrs. cook would still be hurt but regardless I think women should stand up n realized that a man just doesn't love them anymore and be civilized because in the end its not about u and them, its going to be u and god, and they will suffer. The topic was making the mistresses pay... and if I think the mistress is responsible, the husband is DEFINITELY responsible. That goes without saying.

Both parties should pay - the cheating husband and the mistress. Marriage is a legal contract, so why shouldn't they have to pay for making it invalid?

The husband should have to pay, she is blaming Fantasia for the end of her marriage yet Ive never heard her blame the husband . First, I doubt his "affection" is worth that amount of money. Second, how do you prove the mistress caused him to alienate his wife? He could have lost interest/fallen out of love long before meeting another woman. Third, I see the potential for abuse if mistresses start having to pay out of pocket. I can honestly see a husband and wife scheme to get money from someone.

Yeah she should pay. @Daube if the wallet is so important -- she insisted on dating (and "keeping") this married man and selfishly altering Mrs. Cooks household both emotionally and financially, therefore she should pay to play. Relationships are investments. You put in time, emotions, sometimes kids, and financial responsibilities, so why should someone be allowed to come along and usurp your role and leave you with the bulk of the responsibility handling a dissolved relationship. Sounds like a hostile takeover to me, and someone needs to pay. He'll get his during the alimony hearing.

Yes she should pay, as long as the only consequence cheaters face is being called names, it will continue to happen. Since people love thier money more than anything, maybe this will make people think twice about betraying the sanctity of marriage.
