“Mama! I just wanna sang!”. I write this not to insult any of these artists but to bring back a sense of reality. There are a handful of female artists who I feel should probably hang it up. Not everyone is meant to be a singer. We still need doctors, teachers and lawyers. This leads me to want to yell “girl sit your a** down!” in these ladies direction. Please don’t make another damn album. These artists are not in any particular order. Please feel free to add on or dispute any of these ladies God given talent. This list may be updated frequently as the mediocrity unfolds.

1. Kelis

Kelis career has been luke warm since the beginning. Her two most popular singles to date “Bossy” and “MilkShake” were not enough to maintain her relevance in the music industry. Since then she has turned from R and B rock star to Techno queen and no one seems to really care. It might be time for her to hang it up and wait for those monthly child support checks

2. Ashanti

Ashanti has been trying to bounce back since her first album and to no avail. She released singles like “Good-Good” which could have been a ladies anthem but it never took off. She even did a few movies. Maybe that should be the direction?

3. Ciara

Poor Ci-Ci was once on top of the world with her 1,2, step. However, her time came to and end. I think it was the combination of the album being pushed back 110 times or maybe the rumors of her being a hermaphrodite. Either way her heat wave is slowly fizzling. I honestly think that part of the allure was that the record labels wanted an Aaliyah replacement. Ciara, could move like Aaliyah but her vocals were much weaker than Aaliyah. Even the release of her sexually charged song “Ride” could not revive her two step.

4.Keri Hilson

Ms. Keri baby, you embarrass me, your moma, uncle, sister, brother, auntie, and dog. Keri has recently tried a new branding technique. Sex. Well it isn’t really new in the worldly sense but new for her brand. As a last resort, Keri released/leaked the video for “Love Me”. This was supposed to be a reintroduction of Keri to the world. She is SEXY now ya’ll. Unfortunately so far the response from the video has been more negative than positive. People were underwhelmed by this Grammy award winning song writers desperate attempt for media buzz. Yes, it might be time to hang it up and for her to get off that dirty ass floor in her videos.

5. Kelly

I think it must be the hardest for Kelly. She was literally on top of the world as a part of the super group Destiny’s Child. When it was time for the group to split for solo careers, Michelle found her place in Gospel and in theater and we all know what happened to Beyonce. But poor Kelly never bounced back it seems. She tries and tries and to no one really cares. She just can’t bounce back. She has released a few singles but not to much audience anticipation. I think it may be time to perhaps find an alternative career. Even a new pair of titties couldn’t help her career. Damn! Damn! Damn! All this surgery for nothing!
