For those of you that have not heard the Abercrombie padded/push bikinis fiasco, prepare to be shocked. What is the World coming to? Recently, Abercrombie and Fitch Kids unveiled their collection of swimwear to include the Push-Up/Padded Bikini for girls ages as young as 7-14 years old. First, let me start by saying that 14 years old is still extremely young to push up and pad anything. But 7 years old? Are people are out of their minds?
With society the way it is today and our admiration for rappers and reality stars, what message are we sending to our youth? We are a sexualized nation. Girls are taught these days that having a sex tape released and being an exotic dancer turned rapper girlfriend will make you an “OVER NIGHT CELEBRITY” (We all know who I am referring to, no offense to these women). I am a adult. I am able to make the decision on the woman I want to become, because I am mature enough to do so. These young girls are not.
Women are not respected and valued as they once were. We were once treated like queens, now we are degraded to such a level that we are treated like cattle. As long as you are serving a purpose to the owner of the cattle, you are of need. Once your resources have run dry, the cattle is disposed of. That is how we are treated as women. Unfortunately a woman’s usage is being diminshed to that of being of a purely sexual nature. Abercrombie is following suit in this cultural ideology.
Women are taught now to use their bodies to get ahead, NOT BRAINS. The bigger your breast are and the fatter the a**, you are praised in our society. We are taught to hate ourselves and that what we are born with is not good enough. This is why women are literally dying to fit the ever changing, elusive, standard of beauty. A few months back there was a news story regarding a woman from London that came to America to receive butt injections from an unlicensed doctor that performed the procedure in a hotel room and not a hospital. She later had a severe allergic reaction and died. Really? We are willing to die just for the KIM K booty (which many doubt is also not real)? We need to do better. We are influencing our children to follow this overtly sexual path.
Padded/Push-Up Bikini swimsuits for any age under 18 should not be allowed. As young girls you are not even fully developed to add any enhancements in swimwear. How crazy is it for a seven year old that has not even started puberty to walk around the pool with PERVERTED men, because they do exist, with a enhanced swimsuit on? Any parent that thinks this okay, should be banished from parenthood. Why would you want to take the innocence away from your young daughter? They are not making jeans for little boys to simulate their penis’ to appear more endowed, so why would they do that to our little girls? This is why, IT IS A MAN’s WORLD and we just happen to live in it. This again goes back to the theory that women are viewed as sexualized beings from the day they are born. Abercrombie is not the only clothing designers who follows this code.
Abercrombie has now recounted their decision to make this accessible to young girls as they have changed the age to 12 and up. Like I said before, girls are not through developing and we should not send the message to them that you are not good enough unless your boobs or a** are “this big”.
be warned, there are men that live among us, that are waiting to see your young daughter in a bikini period, let alone having the Abercrombie additives, to add unto their impure thoughts. Bikinis are made for women not little girls.. This is also sending a message too early to feel comfortable in public showing all their exposed skin. There should still be a strong level of innocence with children of that age. They should not be so forth coming with unveiling themselves to the world and wanting to be seen in a sexual manner. They have no idea of the messages they are sending. It is our duty to protect them.

Times are only going to get worse, so please protect your girls. There are vultures out here. Children will grow up and get to experience any and everything that comes with adulthood. So let’s teach our girls to love themselves and respect their bodies.

P.S - this writer wants to be treated with respect as a woman and as a goddess by men but she also writes articles entitled, "I like him but his penis is small" and thinks that if "....he had a pinky for a third leg you would not stay with him".
Such hypocritical bullshit!
And you people follow her. Pffft
