The rumors are true and singer Fantasia hadn’t just put on weight. She is indeed pregnant with her second child. This news does not come as a shock to me because there was a scandal involving her and the father (I’m assuming he is) of her child Antwaun Cook. The issue at hand was that Antwaun was a very much so married man when he began dating and screwing Fantasia. Fantasia fell so hard for this man that she had his name tattooed on her body. He eventually left his wife for her although it is not clear if they are finally divorced or not. The wife even attempted to sue through a homewrecker law in their state but did not win her case.

Whew! That was a mouthful. Aside from all of the gossip and drama, here is where the real ish comes into play. In the midst of the drama, Fantasia allegedly attempted suicide. Now, Fantasia’s checking out might not have affected you or I but it would have affected her young daughter very much. Fantasia is the primary caregiver for this child. Having said all of that, the last thing that this woman should be concerned about is chasing after some penis. Especially penis that brought her to the edge of taking her life.

This woman attempted suicide less than a year ago. Who is to say that she is stable enough to raise another child. If this man cheats on her, or decides that he has become bored with her and wants to leave her, I am convinced that this woman will loose her ish. That is slang for lose her mind.

Yes a child is a blessing. But it is always sad to see a child born into a possibly unstable environment that could prove to be unhealthy for the child and the mother. It is more sad for the child because they come into the situation being victims of the drama that already exists in their lives.

This right here.. This situation right here is why I urge women to take care of themselves first and foremost. Men will come and go. But the one constant is that you will always be stuck with your damn self. Now, it is perfectly fine for you to love someone with all of your heart. However, no one deserves your peace of mind. So much control over your spirit and mind that you feel that you cannot make it in life without their mere presence in your life. No person deserves to be burdened or trapped emotionally to another person. The guy also does not deserve to be given so much power over your happiness and spirit. If some man is asking that of you then his a** is just as unhealthy as you are. Now, I am not saying that that is what Antwaun is doing with Fantasia. In fact, I think it is quite the opposite. I think that she has her own emotional emptiness and is using him to fill the void. This is the state of mind that Fantasia seems to be in. Do I think the pregnancy was intentional? Hell yes. I think she wants to make her own family with this man and will do what is necessary to keep him. If he leaves her, who is to say that she will be emotionally equipped enough to handle the rejection? Only, now she has two children to care for.

Fantasia has decided that she does not have to hide her pregnancy from her fans or the media and she is right. She doesn’t have to do that for anyone. I can only hope that her fragile mental state has improved to the point that she can now handle whatever life throws at her. New man and new baby.
