Drama, drama, drama is unfolding between the hosts of 106th and Park and Louisiana Rapper born Lil Webbie. Word is that when Webbie recently visited the set of 106th, he whispered some inappropriate things to Rocsi. By inappropriate, I am assuming it was something vulgar. This earned him being banned from the show. This lead up to co-host Terrance J, retaliating by attempting to check Webbie for his actions. Which then lead up to Webbie making a video verbally attacking and threatening Terrance J.
Dear LJ: I Think I Will Be A Virgin Forever!
No one truly knows what was said to Rocsi or how the situation truly unfolded but Rocsi and Webbie. This is mostly speculation. However, I will say one comment about a recent picture that leaked of Webbie and Rocsi canoodling during the interview. Rocsi was being too friendly. By too friendly, I mean too affectionate and snuggly with this man. I am not placing the blame on her for the actions of Webbie but I mean come on. He doesn’t strike me as a man of high quality, and I think that the host needs to learn her limitations with the guests. Especially the male ones who can misinterpret a friendly hug to mean she wants to bone. A sad but true statement in today’s world.
Dear LJ: How Long Is Too Long To Wait For Marriage?
On more than one occasion she has been said to be too friendly with some of the male guests. Unfortunately, some of the guests that are featured on the show are… How should I say this? Low brow? Uncouth? Ahh, I know the phrase! Ghetto ass dudes. Although some may be certified rap stars, in their heads, they still are that dude from the block. The one who sees women as conquests, and as mere sexual beings to be used and disposed of. Many of the rap artists that fans adore have not evolved past the neighborhood that they grew up in despite their success. I look at the picture of Rocsi and Lil Webbie and I want to tell her to get off of that man. He is too damn simple to understand that you don’t mean that hug in a sexual way.
With that being said, I urge young ladies, not to be taken by the hood glamour that many rappers portray. For instance, the hugging and touching, although may have been innocent to Rocsi, may have sent the wrong signal to a hood dude like Webbie. In his mind, whenever a woman is affectionate, shows him too much attention or adoration in any manner, she wants his penis. There is no gray area about it. The chick wants to bone in his eyes. Never mind, considering that maybe she is naturally affectionate or friendly. It is unfortunate but many young men from Webbie’s generation think mainly with their penises. This in combination with them having a low value system for women in general makes one hell of a “niggerish” combination. Ladies, we must know when to ease up on the friendliness with certain men. Some men are too simple to understand that your friendliness is innocent and not an invitation to between your legs. Is this a disappointing situation? Yes. But it is a part of our reality. In this sense, perhaps they are both to blame.
As far as the rumors of Rocsi being less than virtuous; anything is possible. I don’t know her personally. Supposedly she broke up the marriage of Lisa Raye and her husband by sleeping with him. At any rate, no woman, despite her less than virtuous reputation deserves to be mistreated in any way.
Am I being too hard on Rocsi? Am I being too hard on the brothas?
