Since the news of Kim Kardashian’s split and pending divorce from Kris Humphries hit, people have either been clamoring for more insight into the life of a Kardashian or they have been at the polar extreme of that. Despising every time her name is mentioned in the media and viewing her as a parasite for fame. They scream in agony over being bombarded with constant news and updates concerning Kim Kardashian and her sorted marriage to Kris Humphries. While I tend to be on the side that is overwhelmed and slightly sickened by the constant coverage and obvious obsession of this woman and her family by the media and the public in general; I am here to tell those who want it to end that I feel your pain. I feel your pain but I have to bring the unfortunate news to you that the reign of the Kardashian’s on your favorite blog or TV channel will not end just yet. Don’t look so sad. You have no one else to blame but yourself. If not yourself then your neighbor who watches the show faithfully, or your sister who just purchased a new “fashion forward” blouse from their new clothing line at Sears. Or even your brother who downloaded Kim’s sex tape and watches it every day as if he is paying vigil to her ass.

Yup. We are all to blame. Hell, even I am partially to blame for even writing this post and boosting up her Google hits by mentioning her. Yup! Sadly, the nonsensical entertainment that the Kardashian’s provide is not yet at an end because of a few simple reasons. Want to know what they are? Sure you do. These are a few of the reasons why the Kardashians existence in the media is holding on.

1.Tits and Ass NEVER goes out style.

Sure they have limited if not non-existent talent but piss on that! In this society you do not need any talent, brains, or gifts to be a super star! Just ask Rihanna. You do have to be willing to show that ass. If you are a female, you have to be willing to take your clothes, at a moment’s notice because the survival of your career depends on it. As long as these broads are willing to deduce themselves to sexual objects, especially Kim, at a drop of a dime (literally) then they will continue to receive some sort of attention from the men who adore them and the women who admire them. Also, she has no problem going from man to man within a moment’s notice. As long as she keeps her legs spread more wider than the Grand Canyon, to any athlete that smiles at her, she will always be worth a mention in the media.

2.They will go to any extremes for attention. ANY!

Aside from showing their ass, Kim Kardashian and her clan will go to almost any extreme to keep their names in the public’s eye. They will even go as far as planning an elaborate and expensive wedding and have it recorded on a cable network, and then divorcing the groom shortly after. Whatever it takes to keep the shock value going and the checks rolling in. Since the start of their reality show, they have basically lived their lives for our entertainment. Almost everything they do, say, participate in, support, is somehow for the public’s entertainment and for a buck. It is so they are always mentioned in some form by the media. The day that the media stops obsessing over them will be the day the cash stops rolling for them. I tell you people, that will be the days when we see a pack of sad Armenian women.

3.They align themselves with the right people.

Trust me when I say, whoever the next husband will be of Kim’s will also be someone with some sort of celebrity or elevated career. These women align themselves with people like athletes, actors, musicians, etc. These are all people who are a high profile in the media. It is only common sense that the Kardashian’s purposely and methodically, create connections and build relationships with these types of people. Their association with them only boosters their worth in the media’s eye. Sure you might not give a fudge about P. Diddy but the media in general does and they will MAKE you care about him too by bombarding you with info and updates on his day to day life. Say what you want about him but he has had a successful career. So of course when the opportunity presents itself Ms. Kimmy will opt for a photo hugging Diddy. Why not? It only increases her media value which also could later increase her bank account size.

4. There are people who obsess over them.

Believe it or not, there are losers people who live their lives vicariously through Kim Kardashian or one of her sisters. They mimic their behaviors, practices, fashion etc. They want to be them because they appear to have it all. By it all, I am referencing fame and money. Yes, believe it or not, there are people who are obsessed with Kim Kardashian and her life and they need the media. The media is their supplier for their much needed Kardashian high. The media is aware of this and as long as there are people who still watch the show, still read articles online about them (much like this) then there will always be a demand for them and their antics. They are kind of like gremlins. Don’t feed them after midnight unless you want them to grow big and grotesque and even more narcissistic.

Complain all you want but damnit don’t watch their show even to talk ish about them, if you truly want the obsession with them to come to an end. We all say we are tired of them, but are you tired enough to stop supporting anything that involves them? Take their show for example, will you be tuning in to see the fantasy relationship between Kim and Kris unfold and fall apart? I will wait on your answer.
