Product Review: Elasta QP Soy Conditioner
I am beyond impressed with the results while using this product. Before using this conditioner, I was always trying to use new products to get the soft and shiny look. I tried several products but nothing met the quality I desired. The problem was that my hair would become dry and hard after being washed and dried. (more…)

HBO’s The Black List
I have never seen “The Black List” or heard too much discussion about it but after seeing a preview for the newest volume 3, I will be tuning in. The Black List is a documentary series that focuses on African American entertainers, politicians and public figures and the issues they faced while being Black during their career. I especially love the clip below which features Whoopi Goldberg. She discusses how Hollywood and others tried to mold and change her into what THEY wanted her to be so that she could “represent” and how she resisted it from day one, yet still was more than successful. Amazing what a little stubbornness can get you. Check out the preview (more…)
Apple And Muhammad Think Different
Apple has a new campaign going. In their newest ad they feature Muhammad Ali practicing while doing his usual rant about his greatness. Something about a Black man and the swag that they possess. It crosses over generations. I love that s**t. Especially at the height of his popularity because then, Black men were seen as less than their White counterpart. So to have a talented, athletic, handsome, Black man pseudo spitting in mainstream medias face with his confidence and sometimes over confidence is divine to me. Get them with that classic allure of yours Ali. (more…)
Wyclef Defends His Charity
So many rumors not enough time. Rumor has it that the charity that Wyclef is associated with is doing some shady s**t when it comes to the money. Finally Wyclef has come out to defend himself and his charity. I am unsure of who to believe. It is possible that he could be stealing the money. Anything is possible. I certainly hope that for Wyclef’s karma sake he is not. My questions is isn’t there a way to specifically find out if he is stealing? This charity has to keep some kind of documentations.
“My dad always told me, if you’re a man with a clear conscience, speak with a clear conscience and the world will know,” he said. “Have we made mistakes before? Yes. Did I ever use Yele money for personal benefit? Absolutely not.”
Michael Jackson’s Death Investigation Complete
I don’t know about you but the details surrounding MJ’s death gets more and more elusive and complicated as time goes on. I thought that this was a open and shut case and that the “good doctor” Conrad Murray would be trying to keep his booty hole tight in jail by now. That it is not the case. He has even went back to work at his practice. However, now the D.A. is stating that the investigation is over and they are proceeding with the case. This will be interesting as Murray was only doing what a drug addicted Jackson was asking him too and not purposely trying to kill him. I’m sure that will be a part of his defense.
The LAPD has finished its investigation into Michael Jackson’s untimely death and the case will now go the D.A, according to reports.
Law enforcement officers tell TMZ that the investigation has been completed, and the Web site claims that other sources think Dr. Conrad Murray will be criminally charged in Michael’s death.
Detectives reportedly finished the investigation late last month and the case will be formally presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney in the next few weeks.
One well-placed source says the LAPD investigation was “exhaustive” and “extremely thorough” and the D.A. now has enough evidence to begin a criminal case against Dr. Murray.
However, TMZ notes the case is complicated because Dr. Murray did not break any laws in administering Propofol to Jackson.
Apparently a decision has not been made on the charge but TMZ’s sources say the likelihood is involuntary manslaughter, which requires a showing of gross negligence.
